Sweet Sunset
For oboe and concert band
Sunset. The sun slowly disappears behind the western horizon. The sky is adorned in shades of red and orange… This beautiful sight was my inspiration for this moving solo work for oboe and concert band. I composed this piece in the fall of 2008 and dedicated it to my daughter Hermanda.
