For this festive work, I was inspired by the famous Te Deum by Marc-Antoine Charpentier (1634-1704). In this arrangement, the registers of the orchestra are communicated in a unique way. The “greeting to Europe” is direct and powerful, yet includes soft, elegant, and melodic passages. A magnificent work for a four-part, variable instrumentation.
